The GG In Walla Walla

For Those Who Value the Finer Things

Welcome to The GG in Walla Walla, a premier luxury Washington state inn, where historic charm meets curated elegance. Originally built in 1909 by Clarinda Green and Rowland Smith, this stately Arts and Crafts home began as a family residence and later served as a haven for nurses at the nearby hospital. Today, twin sisters Connie and Karrie have lovingly restored and reimagined the property, infusing it with vibrant personality and refined comfort.

Step inside and discover a world of eclectic art, original antiques, and Karrie's renowned Louis Vuitton trunk collection-one of the largest private displays in the country, with pieces dating back to 1871. Each room and common space is thoughtfully designed to delight the senses, blending vintage treasures with modern amenities for a truly memorable stay.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the GG!
Karrie and Connie have managed to blend fashion and comfort to create the most luxurious accommodation experience. The GG is located on a quiet residential street and is within a ten minute walk to the heart of downtown. Karrie was the ultimate hostess. She is engaging, vibrant and genuine. She arranged incredible tasting experiences at local wineries and their chef Raul created a five-course dining experience that was off the charts! We can't imagine visiting and not staying at the GG! We are already looking forward to staying at the GG on our next visit.

Our Heartfelt Appreciation to Her for Making It Great!
Our staycation for our 27th anniversary at THE GG was incredible. Karrie was so fun, personable, inviting, and embracing!! Our heartfelt appreciation to her for making it great. Karrie's attention to detial did not go unnoticed. From special flowers she designed and presented, wines shared, klicker strawberries in her homemade breakfast scones, fresh honey Karrie and her sister make, the amazing rooms and fun, interesting decor that is OVER THE TOP from years of collecting all added to our enjoyment. I highly recommend a stay here for all friends. You will not be disappointed!!!

More than an Inn; an Experience!
The GG is more than an inn; it is a curated experience. From the moment you arrive, Karrie is the consummate host. We visited for a birthday weekend and Karrie recommended two excellent winery excursions and made dinner reservations. The garden is a beautiful space to relax, read, and visit. I cannot say enough positive things.
